Battery powered LTE module with GPS, accelerometer and 250nA power consumption in rest.

Based on the NRF9160 feather, this module is designed for extremely low power consumption. Its formfactor and flexibility allows it to perform as a versatile IoT platform.

Notable features:

  • Connector to power and connect with external devices

  • Integrated battery charger

  • Highly efficient Buck-boost converter that can be enabled and configured on-demand

  • LIS3DH accelerometer

  • RGB LED

Current consumption:

  • < 5nA in standby / external interrupt

  • 250nA with RTC timekeeping interrupt

  • 3.3uA with accelerometer interrupt

Designed in Eagle CAD and produced as a 4 layer PCB. The module runs Rust and an integration with nrfxlib.
